Service Description
Join us for a morning exploration of seeds! Sunday, March 22nd 10am - noon Bearfoot Botanicals Herb Shop 1216 13th St. Hood River, Or 97031 Learn about: ~Types of seeds ~Requirements for germination ~Stratification methods ~Storage longevity ~Growth stages ~Transplanting ~Starting seeds indoors in pots vs direct planting outside ~When to plant different plants outside ~Supply sourcing ~Saving seeds for future seasons Plant your own tray of seeds to take home and grow! All supplies and tea are included in registration fee. Space is limited, please pre-register to guarantee your spot. What to bring: ~Notebook and pen ~Water bottle and snack, if needed. ~Outdoor clothing for the weather. We will be outside for a portion of class, rain or shine. Please dress accordingly. We will be under cover of a canopy for rain protection or shade. Class will be led by Amanda Daniel, owner of Bearfoot Botanicals, with 18 years experience growing starts from seeds, and a lifetime of home gardening. Bearfoot Botanicals products will be available for purchase at a 15% discount to all workshop attendees. Please contact amandasplants@gmail.com with any questions or accommodation requests. Cancellation Policy
All registration fees are non-refundable. Thank you for understanding. You may transfer your space to another person at no cost. If you are unable to attend, and contact me within 2 weeks of the class, I will issue a credit for a future offering, minus a $15 re-booking fee. Please do not attend class if you are sick. I will do my best to be understanding and work with people in unexpected circumstances. In the event of illness or an emergency, please contact me via email as soon as possible before the beginning of class to discuss a credit. If the class is canceled by the instructor, you will be given an option to reschedule for a future class, receive a shop credit, or receive a refund. Please allow up to 2 weeks for refund to be processed.
