Steam-distilled Yarrow hydrosol.
 
Fresh Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) harvested at peak bloom with care and reverence in the mountains, is distilled in a traditional copper still with fresh spring water from our local spring. Drip-by-drip, this hydrosol emerges, deep blue at first due to the presence of azulene in the essential oil which later separates.
 
Yarrow is known to be a plant of boundaries and healing deep wounds. One of the more versatile hydrosols, there are many uses for this Yarrow hydrosol.
 
~Use as a facial toner on clean skin before applying moisturizer.
~For a first aid application, spritz on bug bites to take the itch away. Spray on minor cuts, scrapes, and abrasions to aid in healing and prevent infection.
~Use as an aromatherapy room spray or light perfume.
~Add to a bath or diffuser.
