Join us for an afternoon of herbal winter wellness! Utilizing a food-as-medicine approach, we will discuss ways to incorporate immune strengthening herbs into your daily routine, as well as protocols for more acute care. We will make an Elderberry immune remedy together for you to take home, and a delicious winter tea blend, plus you’ll leave with lots of recipes! Some topics we will cover: ~Herbs that may be useful for immune support, and symptoms of common ailments that commonly occur during the winter season. ~Safety and contraindications. ~Ethical and regenerative harvesting practices and growing tips. ~Sourcing ingredients – local & affordable options. ~Overview of remedy types and when/how to use - Teas, Tinctures, Syrups, Fire Cider, Steams, and more. ~Home care practices and additional useful supplements. ~Q & A Samples of nourishing, immune-supportive herbal broths will be provided, along with other creations. Please note in your registration if you are vegetarian, as this will be bone broth. I will bring a delicious vegan/vegetarian broth as well if requested! Registration fee includes all supplies, take-home remedy made in class, an educational handout, hot tea, broth and other samples. All registration fees are non-refundable. Thank you for understanding. You may transfer your space to another person at no cost. If you are unable to attend, and contact me within 2 weeks of the class, I will issue a credit for a future offering, minus a $15 re-booking fee. Please do not attend class if you are sick. I will do my best to be understanding and work with people in unexpected circumstances.
